Nicola Walker Is The New Answer

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy stated 42 is the answer to the “ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.” The guide was published in 1979. Having recently binged on iPlayer and BBC Sounds during the covig-19 siege the conclusion from the ‘Deep Thought” computer has been updated, the answer now is Nicola Walker.

One of the best drama series ever, in my estimation, was ‘Spooks’. Recently added to the BBC iPlayer selection you can binge through a huge back catalogue of the series, featuring amongst an ever changing cast, Nicola Walker.

To cheer up and have an injection of feel good drama away from the prevailing trauma I then watched the latest series of ‘Last Tango in Halifax’, having missed all the previous renditions. Up popped Nicola Walker again, then there was ‘Split’ which also featured NW and today I hooked onto the ‘Sounds’ drama section whilst painting windows. Randomly choosing a drama from the past, there was Nicola Walker – again. If you have to paint windows as some means of self isolation diversion, a process I personally loathe, you can gain significant compensation from the steam radio – and add a couple of more ticks to your ‘I Spy’ inadvertant sitings book of NW.

The meandering thoughts of someone with too much time on his hands. Tending to see the obscure and irrelevant in most events I have been forced to record this by family members as a means of diverting attention away from them. But I see their plan.
