Apparently today is called Tuesday. I had to check. Normally I have a default that links TV programmes to the days of the week. Not that I watch too much and anyway there is a self limiting factor. The lock down had seen the cancellation of many TV progs and there are only a limited number of times you can watch repeating repeats on repeat.
Seeing David Attenborough as a lad in ‘Zoo Watch’ progressing through the ages to see him recently as a 90 year old is like watching your life pass before you. The same happened with the ‘Indianna Jones’ films. Harrison Ford started as a young adult, met a young lady; next he has progressed to middle age, met his father, then he was an oldie featuring his adult son and married his original flame who was ‘suddenly’ late middle age. It’s all too much especially as these adventurers were all shown over the Easter break. By the way, have we had the easter break this year yet?
As days have all merged and the weekends lost their relevance I suggest the day names be abandoned. Instead every day should be called ‘Ronaday’. This followed by a number indicating the number of days since the siege. Thus today is Ronaday 35th. Months can be shelved as well for the duration.
