Hair Cuts Wait For Cut Of The Action
Our mops are growing at around 1.5 inches a month. Interestingly hair grows in imperial nomenclature but for modern peeps that’s 38mm – or 38.1mm if we are to get really icky.
Hairdressing is big business. It employs 250,000 people and generates £27bn in turnover. The real problem for hairdressers is that the first haircut after lockdown will reset the market in one cut. Those tresses we have been growing in the last three months slip to the floor in one go. Luckily for the customer hairdressers don’t charge by the inch, but spare a thought for the sweeper guys who are going to have three months of hair to sweep up and dispose.
