Tactical Rules Of A Virus

I read in the Rotherham Bugle that Sneezy has been tactically bumped from Snowhite and the Seven Dwarfs in order to meet the government max groups of six, Sneezy being the most potentially infectious.

The number of new tactical rules emerging are in full flood as this wretched virus outwits the worlds population. Like any battle the dynamics change constantly. We may loose many battles but the crucial objective is to win the war. Hence we need to ebb and flow with the tide of current advice.

The most alarming feature of the virus is how quickly it overcomes common sense. The tight rules of the national lockdown saw countries over the world attempt to barricade against the spreads of infection. Disregarding the international points scoring between politicians as to who had the most effective defence, there was one common denominator. People. We have short memories and after decades of relative calm we have lost the ability to maintain discipline. Nearly all the increases in infection has a link to where we have dropped our guard. Larger gatherings, sporadic absence of face masks and social distancing etc. have all conspired to breach the outer wall and let the enemy into the barricade. With Diwali, Christmas and 12 other religious festivals looming in December where the temptation to meet and greet abounds, heaven help us.

The meandering thoughts of someone with too much time on his hands. Tending to see the obscure and irrelevant in most events I have been forced to record this by family members as a means of diverting attention away from them. But I see their plan.
